In Early Childhood industry, Chrysalis is the best centre for children with its devoted team, carefully designed beautiful space, and fun activities for different ages. Worked here, Chrysalis was the best place to work till now for me. I worked with lovely teachers and management who would go any miles to teach the children creatively and help the work mates. Will recommend to all who are looking for an early learning centre for their children and teachers looking to work in early childhood education.

Chrysalis is an incredible daycare centre for our kids! Both of them have unique personalities but both love to spend time at Chrysalis. My son has loved it from day 1! Slept well, ate well and met his best friend there at 11 months old. They're still best friends 2.5 years later. The teachers in all his classes have helped to nurture his growth and he's a happy confident kid in their care. He often doesn't want to come home at the end of the day and instead wants me to join in with whatever activity is going on. That speaks volumes to me! My daughter recently started at Chrysalis and she found it harder to settle at daycare at first as she's such a mummy's girl. But with lots of care and attention from the teachers and talking through what her needs are she now gets excited to go to daycare each morning. It's always nerve wracking leaving your babies in someone else's care but the whole team at Chrysalis are like extended family for my children. I love that they love their time there!

Fabulous centre, starting from their staff at reception through to chefs, admin and of course teachers. They are very welcoming and loving to my daughter and I when we come in. The facilities are amazing too. Outdoors space and lots and lots of windows :) Lots of time in nature which I feel is very important. My daughter loves it! Highly recommended!

We have been thrilled with how our son is developing at Chrysalis. The staff are great at communicating what’s going on and he loves spending time there. Awesome venue, plenty of space and great staff/child ratios. To be honest, it was probably harder on us to take him than it is for him!

Our 7month old has been going to Chrysalis for over a month now and she's been loving it. During our many visits and also when we pickup/dropoff, the teachers were always helpful, gentle and attentive to all the kids. we have observed that the kids are given l ots of space and time to play with each other and explore on their own but a teacher is always within reach. The teachers worked with us to suss out our baby's nap patterns and within the first two weeks we worked out the best routine to put her to sleep. Our little one loves the food there and can't seem to get enough of it. We love the whole Chrysalis (Avondale) experience from dropping her off at the beautiful center, seeing other kids from various age groups play in the center, interacting with the teachers, watching how they care for all the kids. We've been loving the quick updates on anything special that's happened during the day. It puts our minds at ease allowing us to focus on our work during the day. My son is almost 4 and we enrolled him in Chrysalis since he was one. He started from baby room and now he is in preschool room! Time flies! We Absolutely loved Chrysalis without regrets. Our son has definitely developed a lot of abilities from here too.

We are really lucky to find this daycare after moving to the Avondale area. The place itself is spread out which gives the children lots of "activity" options. The teachers are lovely and knowledgeable and are genuinely interested in seeing children develop and prosper. Our 4 year old daughter loves the place and she is definitely going to miss Chrysails when she moves to primary school at the end of 2023.

Such a great center with wonderful teachers with so much heart and caring mindset .My daughter has been there since she was 6 months old and now she is almost 5 years old and every single room she has been has been so great and the ratio for teacher to kids are perfect. Made the right choice by choosing this place as they are definitely home away from home.

My son has been attending Chrysalis for the past 18 months and he's thriving. The caregivers are wonderful, kind and caring people who work tirelessly to keep the children interested with different activities. They have a healthy food policy which is fantastic and teaching my son good lifetime eating habits. The centre itself is amazing with it's indoor / outdoor flow giving the children plenty of room to play, sing, dance, create and nap in natural surroundings.

We've had our 2 year old at Chrysalis full time since she was just 5 months old. The staff are as amazing as the facilities. We feel like she's in great hands. We haven't had any of the issues that our friends have had at other daycares. Other the staff, the stand outs to us are the in-house chef and the purpose built building which is crescent shaped facing into the awesome playground.

Sending our daughter to Chrysalis was the best decision we have ever made. She was always a little behind on her language development but since we enrolled her at Chrysalis she has made so much progress. It really shows how much the teachers and staff care about the children when the little ones are genuinely excited to do to go every morning. We were very impressed by the premises on our first “show us around” visit earlier this year. The whole building is an architectural designed with passive natural ventilation and oriented to the ultimate fit to the purpose of “child care center” where you can oversee almost every part of the playground but still let the logical people and traffic flow in play due to its unique donut shaped layout. I would suggest parents to experience themselves in the pick up and drop off routine and see how an complete purpose built center stand apart to the others.

We've had a very good experience with Chrysalis. The facilities are wonderful and the teachers are very attentive to the children's needs. I'm also happy to say we never have lost clothing or shoes (as often happened at my other child's ELC.)

My experience with Chrysalis so far has been wonderful, welcoming & comfortable. Not only do I love the school but the teachers, and students that are playful with my son. Especially seeing the relationship the pre- toddlers teachers have with my son. They are so lovely, caring, respectful, patient, bubbly, understanding, alert and many more amazing words to describe them. I am a young mother of 2, as for son being my first. I learn a lot of things through him more and adapt it on his little sister. So him schooling in chrysalis, learning and enjoying a lot of things there and brings it back home teaches me a lot of how he can interact through his words or actions, his communication with me and the capabilities of what he can do all from learning at chrysalis. A lot of different things my son picks up on, that I’ve notice since he’s been there. I believe to have a good Childcare centre, all begins with the passion the staff members has for it and gives. so far.. they have shown it 🙌🏻 they have not disappoint me.

The facilities are fantastic and the educators are amazing! My child always feels safe and comfortable when she’s with her teachers. The baby sleep rooms are awesome, classrooms are spacious and we love that she’s surrounded by nature when playing outside. We’re always welcomed and greeted with lots of smiles by other staff and families.

My child loves attending Chrysalis, often not wanting to stop playing when I go to pick her up! The staff are lovely and attentive, and the large outdoor play-area/garden space is amazing - so good the kids can experience nature on a daily basis.

We have put both our children through Chrysalis and have always been impressed everything they have to offer - from the engaged staff to the spectacular environment and inclusive style. I think they may be one of the best pre-school's in Auckland.

Ever since our preschool team made the school holiday program together, we are receiving so much positive feedback from the parents. They mostly said "you guys are awesome" "thank you for doing these amazing things for the children" "it's so cool" "my son loves coming to preschool. He loves all his teachers here" etc.. I think it's because we all work as one team and work collaboratively with each other. We have many more exciting events coming up in preschool soon! (My son) is currently in your preschool room. I would just like to take this opportunity to first of all thank you and your staff for the wonderful care and education you provide to him and the children at your Centre. (My son) has attended daycare since he was a very young baby and in April this year moved to your Centre. Upon arrival you showed me and my family around and immediately made us feel welcome and at home. I was anxious as to how my son would settle as he has always been with me, however he settled perfectly and I have never looked back on my decision in placing him at Chrysalis.The welcoming face that we meet at the door everyday always starts my day off well and every staff member I pass on the way to (my son’s) class greets me with a smile.My main reason for this feedback is to mention one person in particular, your head teacher. She has gone above and beyond her duties for (my son) and myself. This place is truly worth checking out! My son has been here since the beginning! Their philosophies and their staff really resonated with me & after checking out their sister daycare “Magic Kingdom” I was sold! At that stage “Chrysalis” hadn’t even been built yet! But after checking out so many other daycares. I’m truly happy with our choice! These guys are the best and the facilities are truly outstanding and a real cherry on the top!! If you’re looking for somewhere special with amazing staff to entrust your most precious child with. This is the place!!!
